Biography

Coming from a family with deep roots in real estate, Ian’s move into commercial real estate represents something of a return to a familiar path. Prior to joining Lee & Associates, Ian enjoyed a long career as a cameraman in the film and television industry. Working in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment taught him how to perform under pressure, solve problems quickly, communicate with a wide range of personalities and build lasting professional relationships in an industry where reputation and personal connections are essential. Ian brings that same approach to commercial real estate, with a growing focus on the industrial market throughout West Los Angeles. He enjoys getting to know the businesses, property owners, and people behind each transaction with a straightforward, hardworking, friendly and personal approach. Growing up in Cape Town, South Africa, Ian has long been drawn to Southern California and its outdoor lifestyle and is proud to call the West Coast home. Outside of commercial real estate, he loves the outdoors and enjoys taking advantage of all Southern California has to offer.
